Information about registration for courses offered by Kontextlehre WTG

Registation of TUM students

In order to be able to participate in Kontextlehre WTG courses, you need to register for a spot. The registration mostly takes place over TUMonline. You will find a link to register in the Course description under Courses. The registration for the course generally takes place two weeks before classes start.

The time of your registration (within the registration period) is not decisive for whether you get a spot. Spots are distributed along the following criteria: module assignment ("Studienplanzuordnung"), waiting list placement in the previous semester, lottery.

Registration for Non-TUM Students

Only enrolled TUM students can register for courses over the TUM online course administration. The registation of participants who are not enrolled at TUM takes place via email to the adress wtg.stm@sot.tum.de

In order to process your registration we will need the following information:

  • Name of the course
  • Date of the first session of the course
  • Group (in case the course is divided into different groups)
  • Name and last name
  • Email
  • Affiliation (e.g. PhD student at department X, TUM employee at department Y, alumnus, student at university Z)

By submitting these points, you agree to allow us to store your personal information. We need your email address for communication, and your affiliation for better planning and organizing our offer.

In principle, non-TUM students can register for all courses. At first, the registration puts you on the “waitlist," meaning that we cannot guarantee you a spot. Non TUM-students will receive a spot only if the course is not fully booked by TUM students.

One week before the start of the course, non-TUM students will be offered a spot via email in case the course is not fully booked. Please write a response to confirm that you accept the offer within two days. Your registration will be canceled should we not receive a response in time. We will let you know in case the course is already fully booked by TUM students a week before it starts.
