Writing competence is a key factor for success. In two face-to-face sessions and two webinars, which build on each other thematically, students are introduced to working with ChatGPT.
The possible applications of the software for scientific writing will be discussed. Special attention is also given to the legal framework under which the tool can be used for scientific work. The thematic focus is on the different text genres that are relevant in everyday university life: scientific text (introduction, discussion), summary/paraphrase of a paper/book, motivation letter and essay, whereby the fact check is of central importance. In addition, we will experiment with different language levels and stylistic devices.
Please bring your own notebook.
