Dear EDU and SOT members,

on October 8th, 2025, our EDU Colloquium will take place for the fourth time! Once again, we would like to take the opportunity to discuss ongoing research within the department Educational Sciences. We kindly ask you to save the date in your calendar.

We warmly invite all PhD students in the Department of Educational Sciences to present their PhD projects at the EDU Colloquium. As in previous years, presentations followed by a discussion are planned. Each discussion will include a comment by an EDU professor (a so-called guest supervisor). The presentations and subsequent discussions give PhD students the opportunity to receive interdisciplinary feedback and suggestions on their project in a collegial and constructive atmosphere.

If you are a PhD student and would like to present your project, please submit an abstract (max. 1500 signs with spaces) and name two preferred guest supervisors from among the EDU professors by August 14th, 2025: https://tum-physikdidaktik.limesurvey.net/277936?lang=en

Please refrain from contacting professors individually—we will coordinate the guest supervisor invitations collectively.

All other EDU and SOT members are warmly invited to attend and enrich the discussions. Further information will follow in due time.
