(100%, also possible part-time, initially limited to 1 year)

As part of the Diversity & Equal Opportunities Office, the TUM Family Service offers all members of the university a comprehensive range of information, advice and services relating to the compatibility of work/study and family. The Accommodation Service supports international guest researchers in their search for accommodation in Munich and Garching.
 

Requirements

  • Completed university degree (all subjects), preferably in the field of social sciences
  • Good knowledge of childcare/family regulations and the local infrastructure in the greater Munich area or willingness to acquire this knowledge
  • Experience in the university or research/science sector desirable
  • Ability to work independently, conceptually and project-oriented, also in cooperation with internal departments and external service providers
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills as well as a pronounced service orientation
  • Business fluent in written and spoken German and English
     

Responsibilities

  • Advising (also international) university members on the compatibility of work/study and family, especially on regular childcare at TUM
  • Co-conception of new formats in the area of vacation care
  • Maintaining contact with existing cooperation partners and acquiring new services to support the compatibility of family and work/studies at TUM
  • Public relations work in the area of family service and accommodation service
  • Support for international guest researchers in all matters relating to finding accommodation at the TUM locations in Munich and Garching (including communication with landlords)
  • Management of apartments for guest researchers in the TUM guest house IBZDiversity & Equal Opportunity Office Technical University of Munich
