Dear SOT-Members,
We are happy to invite you to the talk of Prof. Gregorio Robles (Universidad Rey Juan Carlos, Madrid).
Prof. Robles will be presenting Dr. Scratch 2.0 on Friday, March 28th at 11am in room 137 at Marsstraße 20.
Dr. Scratch 2.0 -- A tool for helping in the evaluation of Computational
Thinking
Abstract: Dr. Scratch 2.0 is a web-based service designed to analyze
Scratch projects. It augments the original and widely used, by learners,
educators and researchers, Dr. Scratch to offer five new
functionalities: the Default and Extended Modes evaluate computational
thinking skills, identifying coding issues and generating certificates;
the Personalized Mode allows custom rubric creation; the Comparison Mode
analyzes and compares two projects, highlighting differences; the Batch
Mode processes multiple projects simultaneously, delivering detailed
reports via email; and the Recommender Assistant, a chatbot-like
feature, guides users in resolving coding ``bad smells''. Furthermore, I
intend to demonstrate our latest efforts, which incorporate 3D glasses
into the evaluation procedure.
Best regards
