Description
The workshop will be conducted remotely over two sessions, both scheduled for 4 hours (including breaks).
On the first day we will briefly outline the theoretical foundations of SCRUM, and you will get a chance to put them into practice right away in an interactive simulation. We won’t reveal too much, but feel free to bring your creative hat for the simulation.
In the week between our two sessions, you and your team will continue with the simulation for two additional iterations (sprints), which will take approximately two hours. We will ask you to summarize your learnings in a short reflection (one per team) and share them with the other teams in the second session.
On the second day we will discuss your experiences and learnings and then repeat the simulation once again. This time around, we will rearrange the teams to give you the opportunity to meet more new people, but also to show how a common understanding of SCRUM/agile practices enable teams to start working effectively from the start. The session will conclude with an outlook into broader new product development foundations and an interactive quiz (not graded).
